Ford Recalls 91,198 F-150s a Second Time Over Faulty Lights
Ford is recalling just under 100,000 versions of the 2018-2020 F-150 pick-up truck for a second time. After not being properly fixed under a prior recall, the trucks still suffer form the potential of when the headlight switch is turned from "Autolamps" to "Headlamps On," the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) may remain fully bright instead of dimming to parking lamps as intended. This produces far too much light at the front of the truck, not compliant with the rules of the road.
Ford Issues Another Recall for a Truck Previously Recalled
Ford has issued a recall for over 10,000 versions of the 2018 F-150 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under a previous recall. The initial compliant and issue has to do with quickly moving the shift lever from Park to Drive. This may cause a loss of gear indication on the instrument cluster display and a momentary selection of an unintended gear, such as Reverse or Neutral.
Ford Recalls the Recall on the Focus and Fusion

Honda Recalls 1,049,883 Vehicles for an Unusual Reason
Honda is recalling over 1 million vehicles, but not because there is anything wrong with the cars or SUVs themselves. The issue centres around the the tire repair kit. When used, there could be so much pressure built-up within the sealant bottle, the bottle's cap to blows off and detaches. Affected vehicles include certain 2023-2026 CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and 2025-2026 CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles.
Kia Forced to Recall 2027 Telluride Already
Although it just hit the market, Kia is recalling 6,264 versions of the 2027 Telluride and Telluride Hybrid mid-size SUVs. The problem has to do with the driver seat belt emergency locking retractor, which may lock. This might sound like it is working properly, but it can cause the seat belt strap not to extend, either remaining too loose, or trapping the driver in place.
Subaru Issues Recall for Detaching Moonroofs
Subaru is recalling almost 70,000 versions of the 2026 Forester and Forester Hybrid SUVs. The problem centers around the sliding glass panel of the power moonroof. It may have been improperly bonded to the sliding frame, allowing the glass panel to detach from the vehicle, which of course is not optimal in anyway.
419,967 Ford and Lincoln Vehicles Recalled for Faulty Seat Belts
Ford is recalling nearly half a million examples of the 2018-2022 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. The recall has to do with the seat belt pretensioner in the driver and/or front passenger seat that may inadvertently lock the seat belt, which will not allow the belt to retract or extend. This can trap occupants in place within the vehicle.
Toyota Recalls Over 80,000 Veihcles for Failing Displays
Toyota is recalling 81,893 examples of the 2025 Lexus UX Hybrid, 2024 Lexus GX, Toyota Mirai, and 2024-2025 Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid vehicles. The malady has to do with the instrument panel cluster combination meter that may fail to display certain warnings or indicators. This can prevent drivers from knowing if there's a critical issue with one of the vehicle's key components.
Ford Issues Do Not Drive Warning for Bronco Sport and Maverick
Ford is recalling 4,653 versions of the brand's 2021-2026 Bronco Sport and 2022-2026 Maverick vehicles. The problem focuses around front lower control arm ball joints that may have been incorrectly installed or incorrectly repaired at the vehicle assembly plant. If put in wrong, the control arm could disconnect from the front wheel knuckle, causing a loss of control.
Nissan Recalls 51,598 New Generation Kicks

The issue centers around a software error in the driver information center that may cause the screen display to go partially, or fully blank. Since this is the main source for driving information and some vehicle settings, having it go blank is less than optimal.

GM Recalls Trucks Over Rupturing Side Airbags
General Motors, is recalling 2,785 versions of the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra 2500, and Sierra 3500 vehicles. The reason for this recall has to do with the left-side or right-side roof rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator or the inflator sidewall may rupture. This can lead to an airbag not going off during a collision, or going off randomly.

There are 14,575 versions of the 2025-2026 Tesla Model Y now under a new recall. The need for this recall has to do with a certification label that may not have been installed. If it is missing, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 C.F.R. Part 567, "Certification."

Tesla Recalling 218,868 Vehicles Over Rear Cameras
Tesla is recalling nearly a quarter of a million vehicles over a rear camera issue. The affected vehicles include certain 2017 Model 3, 2021-2023 Model 3, 2020-2023 Model Y, 2021-2023 Model S, and 2021-2023 Model X vehicles. The problem has to do with operating software version 2026.8.6. With this software, the rearview camera image may be delayed in showing on the screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse.

Volkswagen Recalling 38,710 Taos SUVs
Volkswagen is recalling just under 39,000 versions of the small 2025-2026 Taos SUVs. The issue involves the fuel pressure sensor that may dislodge or separate from the fuel tank in the event of a rear-end crash. If this occurs, the Taos would no longer be compliant with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."

Tesla is recalling 173 examples of the brand's 2024-2026 Cybertruck; specifically, those that came equipped with 18-inch steel wheels. The problem has to do with the brake rotor stud holes, which may crack and allow the stud to separate from the wheel hub. Losing a wheel and brake assembly is never ideal.
Audi Recalls 18,853 e-tron Models Over Faulty Brake Pedal
Audi is recalling nearly 19,000 of the brand's all-electric vehicles for a faulty fastener that connects the brake pedal and the brake booster. The affected vehicles include some 2019-2023 Audi e-tron Quattro, 2020-2023 Audi e-tron Sportback, 2024 Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback e-tron, SQ8 e-tron, and SQ8 Sportback e-tron vehicles. If the fastener fails, the brake pedal could detach from the brake booster, which is less than ideal.

Hyundai is recalling just under 3,000 versions of the 2025 Elantra N, 2026 Tucson, Tucson Hybrid, Tucson Plug-In Hybrid Electric (PHEV), and Elantra vehicles. The recall focuses on the B-pillar impact sensors, which may have been misassembled, thus delaying air bag deployment.
Dodge and Jeep Recalling EVs Over Faulty Screens
Stellantis, or more specifically Dodge and Jeep, are recalling 20,271 versions of the 2024-2025 Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger electric vehicles. The problem has to do with the display screens. A software error may cause the instrument panel display to fail, which causes a bunch of non-compliances with federal safety standards since so much of a vehicle's functionality is tied into display screens these days.
Mitsubishi Recalling Over 100,000 Outlanders for Falling Liftgates
Mitsubishi is recalling 108,046 examples of the 2018-2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014-2020 Outlander vehicles. The recall has been announced to correct an issue where the liftgate gas spring cylinders may corrode and lose pressure. If this happens, it's possible for the gas spring cylinder to rupture and/or for the liftgate to fall unexpectedly.
Ford Recalling 4,922 Broncos
Ford is issuing a recall for nearly 5,000 versions of the 2021-2025 Bronco SUVs. The problem centers around the joint that connects the transmission to the transfer case. It may be misaligned from an incorrectly performed previous repair, which could lead to excessive wear on the transmission, specifically the output shaft splines and transfer case input splines.
Jaguar Land Rover Recalling Over 170,000 Vehicles
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is recalling 170,169 vehicles across the company's various brands. Affected units include the 2021-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery, 2020-2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2019-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Range Rover, 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Defender, 2021-2024 Jaguar F-Pace, and 2021-2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs.) The problem has to do with the DC-DC converter that can fail due to an internal fault in the boost control microchip. If this failure occurs, the result is a loss of 12-Volt system charging and can lead to complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting.
