Nissan Recalls 51,598 New Generation Kicks
Nissan has issued a recall for over 50,000 versions of the 2025-2026 Kicks. The issue centers around a software error in the driver information center that may cause the screen display to go partially, or fully blank. Since this is the main source for driving information and some vehicle settings, having it go blank is less than optimal.
To remedy the screen issues, Nissan dealers will update the combination meter software, free of charge. Owners of affected Kicks should get a letter mailed by July 1, 2026. For the time being, customers may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261.
