Honda

Honda’s uber-popular Civic is available as either a sedan or a hatchback. The high performance Si is back as a sedan only while the extreme Type R joins the lineup only as a hatchback. The tried-and-true Accord is all new this year as is the three-row Pilot SUV. The compact CR-V crossover continues to be a huge seller for Honda and sits above the subcompact HR-V that was all-new last year. The mid-size Passport rounds-out Honda’s SUV lineup.

Honda still believes in Minivans and the Odyssey continues to be one of the best-selling vehicles in the segment. Finally, the Ridgeline is still a unique, niche pickup truck although some competitors are following its formula, albeit in a smaller package.

5 Best Features of the 2026 Honda Civic Si

The 2026 Honda Civic Si doesn't reinvent the formula, and after spending a week driving one, contributor Kyle Patrick finds that's exactly why it continues to stand out. Honda has stuck with the same core ingredients that have defined the Si for years: a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a helical limited-slip differential, and a six-speed manual transmission. While the latest model only received minor updates, Kyle found that the Civic Si remains an engaging and practical sport compact that balances everyday usability with driver involvement.
