Hyundai
Hyundai is branching out into ever more daring designs, while maintaining the competitive pricing that made it popular. The car lineup is bolstered by the Elantra and Sonata, both of which come in ICE-only and hybrid forms. The SUV lineup is also strong, with the dramatic compact Tucson, quirky sub-compact Kona, and the surprisingly luxurious Santa Fe. At either end of the Hyundai SUV lineup is the very impressive Palisade, and the very affordable Venue.
Hyundai has been upping its green credentials with multiple hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. Currently, there’s the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, and the Kona EV which is due to be overhauled.
Those wanting sporty Korean models have a few options to choose from as well. There are N Line versions of multiple models, and the full N lineup consists of the Elantra N, and Kona N.
Founded in 1967 Hyundai launched the Pony in 1975 with styling from renowned designer Giorgio Giugiaro and engines from Mitsubishi. The car made its way to North America in 1983, with huge success in Canada leading to the launch of the Excel in the U.S. three years later.

EV vs ICE: Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT
A Porsche and a Hyundai. It’s a match-up that makes no sense, because here in 2024 that’s the world we live in.
When I pitched the idea for Mike and I to drive the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT together, I was fully aware nobody is actually going to cross-shop them.

Hyundai Patents System To Ventilate Pregnancy Farts
This is quite easily the most out-there patent I’ve covered in recent memory. Filings uncovered by the AutoGuide research department indicate Hyundai has filed patents for a “Pregnancy Mode,” which among other things, will use the seat’s ventilation to suck up the increased flatulence some pregnancies can be responsible for.

Hyundai's Ioniq 5 Gets The Off-Road Treatment At Last
It almost seems a crime to make a mildly-lifted hatchy-looking EV like the Ioniq 5 and not make it cooler than “electric toaster that’s very good at going from A-to-B,” thankfully, Hyundai has been working hard to rectify this. The Ioniq 5 N is widely held to be the best-driving performance EV on the market, and now there’s something for off-road enthusiasts with the Ioniq 5 XRT.

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Quick Take: Checking the Box
The blocky look, for starters. The Santa Fe has never really stuck with a consistent look over the previous four generations, so why start now? The H-pattern headlights are a clever touch, while the oversized wheel arches break up all the flat surfaces. While it’s bigger and boxier than its predecessor, this new Santa Fe more cleanly cuts through the air with a 0.29 drag coefficient compared to 0.33 of old. The underlying platform is the same as before: the Hyundai Motor Group’s N3 platform also underpins the similarly-sized Kia Sorento. The growth spurt means the return of three-row seating, while maintaining a footprint a good half-foot shy of the Palisade.
2024 Hyundai Kona Hybrid Review: The One That Got Away
Hyundai has one of the most robust electrified lineups in North America. Fully electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and conventional hybrids are littered throughout the brand’s model lines. But there is one hybrid we do not get on our shores: the 2024 Hyundai Kona Hybrid.
The 24h Nürburgring Shows How Serious Hyundai’s N Division Really Is
Fifteen years ago, Hyundai didn’t really have a performance division. Although the company had dabbled in motorsports, there wasn’t a stand-alone, dedicated division tasked with making high performance road and race cars.
I Stayed Up All Night to Watch the Shortest 24h Nürburgring Race Ever
When attending a race like the Nürburgring 24h, it’s probably best to not plan for any specific thing, but rather plan for everything. In a world of unpredictability, the Green Hell as it's called, laughs in the face of forethought and common sense. The Nurburg region can encounter sweltering humidity, rain, wind, fog, and snow, or all the locals call it, a typical Tuesday morning.

The Hyundai Elantra sees useful updates for 2024, with a freshened face and even more standard tech. The facility has the feeling of a village unto itself. Indeed, you get the impression that if you live in Ulsan – a city with a population of just over one million – you either work at the plant, or know someone who does.
2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Review: First Drive
It’s hard to drive three blocks in North America these days without seeing some version of the Hyundai Santa Fe mid-size crossover. It’s a massive seller for both the brand and in the segment in general, and for good reason; over the last few generations, it’s looked unique, it’s come well-equipped and such are Hyundai’s trim offerings that the buying process is exceedingly simple. It ticks a tonne of boxes…and now, there’s an all-new one.
