The compact SUV segment is one of the most competitive corners of the automotive market, which makes staying relevant a challenge. According to Kyle Patrick, the 2026 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid continues to hold its own thanks to a smooth hybrid powertrain, a practical interior, and a comfortable driving experience. The problem has to do with the software in the front cameras that may cause the forward collision avoidance system to activate prematurely. This can cause the vehicle to suddenly, and unexpectedly, apply the brakes when there is no need to.

Hyundai is recalling 172 examples of the 2025 Ioniq 5 and 2026 Ioniq 9 vehicles. The reason for this recall centers around the fasteners for the rear suspension. They may loosen and become detached, which, of course, is not ideal, as it can result in a loss of vehicle control.

Hyundai has issued a recall for 3,493 versions of the 2015-2016 Elantra and 2016 Elantra GT vehicles. The issue has to do with the driver's air bag inflator that may rupture during deployment, thus not properly inflating the air bag.
