Hyundai Recalls a Few IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 9 Vehicles

Hyundai is recalling 172 examples of the 2025 Ioniq 5 and 2026 Ioniq 9 vehicles. The reason for this recall centers around the fasteners for the rear suspension. They may loosen and become detached, which, of course, is not ideal, as it can result in a loss of vehicle control.

To solve the problem, the brand's dealers will inspect and replace the rear suspension fasteners and perform a rear vehicle alignment, as necessary, free of charge. For owners of the few affected vehicles, they should get letters mailed to them by July 17, 2026. For the time being, customers may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460.
