As Genesis continues to pick up momentum, it has overtaken one of the German Big Three in at least one segment.

Well, this is unexpected. Not so much in that Genesis has unveiled a new concept car, as the brand is quite fond of making stunning, lust-worthy concepts. What’s surprising is the type of concept vehicle Genesis just took the wraps off.

Genesis is recalling 83,877 vehicles over a software error that can cause the instrument panel display to shut off. The affected vehicles include the 2026 G80, GV80, G80 "Electrified," GV60, GV70 "Electrified" and GV70 vehicles. So basically, everything other than the G70 and G90.

It's another year of exciting new metal across all segments, and here are the ones we're most excited about.

The hotter GV60 boasts 641 horsepower, 583 pound-feet of torque, and a dedicated Drift Mode. Bring it on.

Genesis says this "defines the direction of the brand’s performance heritage for the next 10 years," but we'll take it right now, thanks.

Genesis has announced that the GV60 Magma, the brand’s first high-performance model, has completed its final phase of testing in preparation for its debut.

After installing the engine, hybrid system, and gearbox, the ORECA team completed the build and handed the car over to Genesis Magma Racing engineers, who will lead testing. ORECA will continue to support the long-term development process.
