Hyundai Recalls 54,337 Elantra Hybrids
Hyundai is recalling nearly 55,000 versions of the 2024-2026 Elantra Hybrid sedan. The problem has to do with the hybrid power control unit (HPCU) assembly that may overheat during driving.
To fix the issue, dealers will update the HPCU software, free of charge. Letters will be mailed out to affected owners by July 13, 2026. For those with inquiries now, they may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460.
