2027 Honda Passport TrailSport Arrives With $45,195 MSRP
Honda is doubling down on its rugged adventure lineup with the arrival of the updated 2027 Passport. Headlining the changes is a reengineered suspension setup for the TrailSport trim that adds 1.38 inches of ride height, bringing total ground clearance to 9.65 inches.
The additional clearance gives the 2027 Passport TrailSport more underbody room than rivals like the Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road and Subaru Outback Wilderness. The suspension overhaul also yields improved approach, breakover, and departure angles alongside enhanced suspension articulation and off-road compliance.

Visual Upgrades and Added Trail Tech
To complement the taller stance, Honda revised the exterior styling on TrailSport models. The SUV receives wider front and rear fender flares, a darker resculpted front lower fascia, and a pair of hood-scoop-mounted amber LED accent lights.
A new Blackout Package is available across the TrailSport lineup, adding dark front and rear bumper fascias, black 18-inch alloy wheels, and blacked-out exterior badging. Across all 2027 Passport grades, Smoke Blue Pearl replaces Obsidian Blue Pearl on the paint menu.
Equipment trickles down to lower trims for 2027 as well. The standard TrailSport now includes a heated steering wheel and Honda's multi-view TrailWatch camera system, both of which were previously reserved for the range-topping TrailSport Elite.
Powertrain and Full Pricing Breakdown
Mechanical hardware remains consistent across the lineup. Every 2027 Passport is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with standard torque-vectoring i-VTM4 all-wheel drive.
Production continues exclusively at the Honda Alabama Auto Plant in Lincoln, Alabama. For the first time, Honda will also export the American-built Passport TrailSport Elite to the Japanese domestic market later this year.
Pricing for the entry-level Passport RTL starts at $45,195 (excluding a $1,595 destination and handling fee). The volume-selling TrailSport starts at $49,995, while the flagship TrailSport Elite Blackout tops the lineup at $55,195 before destination. The refreshed model is arriving at Honda dealerships nationwide.
