Toyota Recalls Over 80,000 Veihcles for Failing Displays
Toyota is recalling 81,893 examples of the 2025 Lexus UX Hybrid, 2024 Lexus GX, Toyota Mirai, and 2024-2025 Toyota Land Cruiser Hybrid vehicles. The malady has to do with the instrument panel cluster combination meter that may fail to display certain warnings or indicators. This can prevent drivers from knowing if there's a critical issue with one of the vehicle's key components.
To fix the issue, Toyota dealers will update the combination meter software, free of charge. For owners of potentially affected vehicle, letters will be mailed by July 12, 2026. In the meantime, customers can contact Toyota's customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
