Lucid is recalling just over 2,000 versions of the 2024-2025 Air, specificaly those with the rear-wheel drive set-up. The issue has to do with the Gen 4 inverter that may become damaged, which could lead to loss of all drive power.

To fix the problem, Lucid plans to send an over-the-air (OTA) software update that will continually inspect for an inverter failure. If a failure is detected, Lucid will replace the inverter free of charge. For owners of affected vehicles, letters should be mailed out by July 10, 2026. For the time being, customers can contact Lucid at 1-888-995-8243.
