Honda Recalls 1,049,883 Vehicles for an Unusual Reason
Honda is recalling over 1 million vehicles, but not because there is anything wrong with the cars or SUVs themselves. The issue centres around the the tire repair kit. When used, there could be so much pressure built-up within the sealant bottle, the bottle's cap to blows off and detaches. Affected vehicles include certain 2023-2026 CR-V Hybrid, Accord Hybrid, and 2025-2026 CR-V Fuel Cell EV vehicles.
To fix the issue, Honda dealers will replace the tire repair kit nozzle or sealant bottle, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners about the problem are expected to by sent by July 27, 2026. Follow-up letters will be sent once the final solution is ready to go (enough bottles are in stock we guess). For now, owners may contact Honda's customer service at 1-866-784-1870.

"Follow-up letters will be sent once the final solution is ready to go" I couldn't help but wonder if a German manufacturer would have worded this the same way.
Having used tire sealant years ago on hand studded ice race tires I can vouch that a sealant leak would be very messy indeed!
