There are 14,575 versions of the 2025-2026 Tesla Model Y now under a new recall. The need for this recall has to do with a certification label that may not have been installed. If it is missing, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 C.F.R. Part 567, "Certification."

As an easy fix, Tesla Service will inspect and install a certification label as necessary, free of charge. Owners of the affect all-electric SUVs should get a letter mailed by July 17, 2026. For now, customers can contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752.
