Top 10 Vehicles Researched In July 2026

We’re living in strange times, and our list of the most researched vehicles is increasingly difficult to predict. 

Following a pattern set by world events, gas prices have gone up, come down a bit, gone back up, and have mostly stayed elevated in America and most of the rest of the world. That volatility has led to our list of the most researched vehicles in America shuffling and reshuffling from month to month.

In April, the popularity of full-size pickup trucks took a significant dip. They recovered somewhat in the following months, but our most recent data from July is all over the place.

The Chevy Silverado 1500 is at the top of the list for the second month in a row. Up next, surprisingly, is the Chevy Traverse, ahead of a trio of compact crossovers and another large three-row SUV. We finally see the second pickup truck in seventh place, and the only other truck to make the top 10 is the midsize Chevy Colorado.

If we were to keep counting, we’d see the GMC Sierra 1500 in 11th, the Chevy Silverado 2500HD in 19th, the Ram 1500 in 20th, and the Toyota Tacoma in 21st. The Toyota Camry is the only sedan in the top 25, and 17 of them are crossovers or SUVs. A solid percentage of the top 25 are either dedicated hybrids or at least offered with a hybrid powertrain option.
