Ford Recalls Bronco For Losing Its Lid
Ford has put out a recall for 16,200 versions of the 2021-2022 Bronco SUV. The issue has to do with both 3-door and 5-door hardtop roof panels that may have been manufactured improperly. This can lead to sections of the outer roof panel separating and detaching from the vehicle while driving.
To fix the problem, Ford dealers will inspect and replace the hard top as necessary, free of charge. The company will be sending letters to owners to make them aware of the safety issue by May 27, 2026. A second letter will follow once the fix is available, anticipated to be sometime around November 2026. For now, customers can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.

Now Bronco owners can join us Jeep owners in learning what duct tape and baling wire are for. Despite all the years Jeep has never provided duct tape and baling wire as standard upgrades.
So much winning! Sorry for the owners, but it's great to have my curmudgeon opinion of "plastic roofs" confirmed.
Sad to see Ford Succumb to poor engineering and inferior parts that has caused millions of recalls. Many like myself will pass on buying an unreliable Ford.
