2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Is Cheaper, Gets New Nightshade Trim
The base 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander LE is around $2,000 cheaper for 2025, with pricing starting at $42,310 compared to 2024’s $44,715. That’s thanks to the new LE trim sitting under the old base trim, the XLE. You can still get all-wheel drive for a little more cash, but the LE trim comes with front-wheel drive by default. Still, the LE keeps the larger 12.3-inch center screen and benefits from the same 265-horsepower four-cylinder as the XLE.
There’s also the new Grand Highlander Nightshade. This will be a familiar formula to the Toyota faithful, but the “new” special edition is worth going over either way. Nightshade models get black accents, including a black grille, wheels, and mirror caps. Crucially, Nightshade models get the upgraded JBL audio system, something buyers looking at any Highlander will want to spring for.
