The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross doesn’t rock the boat, but it does get some fresh paint options and subtle tweaks to keep it in the conversation.

Among the biggest updates is the introduction of Soul Red Crystal paint, an exclusive to the Corolla Cross. If you’re eyeing a hybrid, you can even opt for a two-tone scheme with Soul Red Crystal on the body and Jet Black on the roof. Nightshade hybrid trims also get an exclusive Wind Chill Pearl and Jet Black combo—in total, Toyota is offering 11 color options for 2025.

Beyond the paint, Toyota has made a few minor changes, like matte-black mirror caps and shark-fin antennas on the L and S trims, with glossy versions reserved for higher grades. Toyota also shuffled the badges around, moving the AWD badge to the rear and adding an HEV badge to hybrids.

Mechanically, it’s business as usual. Both gas-only and hybrid models share a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine. The gas model puts out 169 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque, while the hybrid pairs the engine with an electric motor for a combined 196 horsepower. The hybrid also achieves a solid EPA-estimated 42 mpg, thanks to its efficient eCVT and higher compression ratio.

Pricing starts at $24,035 for the front-wheel-drive Corolla Cross L, while the all-wheel-drive hybrid S will set you back $28,395. AWD is an option on gas trims for $1,300, and hybrid models come standard with it. Suspension setups vary: hybrids and AWD models get MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear, while front-wheel-drive gas models stick with a torsion beam rear.
