2025 Aston Martin Valhalla Finally Arrives

It’s been a long road for Aston Martin’s Valhalla.
First teased as the AM-RB 003 concept back in 2019, the mid-engine supercar has finally been revealed in production form. At the heart of the Valhalla is a plug-in hybrid powertrain producing 1,064 horsepower— the same as a C8 Corvette ZR1.
Ground zero for all the sound and fury is a re-engineered 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that churns out 817 hp alone. This isn’t a simple repurposing of the DBX707’s V8—this one features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry sump lubrication, bespoke camshafts, and upgraded turbochargers, making it one of the most advanced internal combustion engines Aston Martin has ever built.
2025 Aston Martin Valhalla: All The Details
Backing up the V8 are three electric motors. Two power the front wheels, allowing for torque vectoring and all-wheel drive, while the third is inline with the gearbox and serves as a generator for the battery pack. In EV mode, the Valhalla can travel up to 8.6 miles at speeds of up to 80 mph. With all systems working in concert, Aston Martin says the Valhalla hits 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and tops out at 217 mph.
Aerodynamics play a key role in the Valhalla’s performance. Active elements, including a dramatic rear wing and extending front lip, generate up to 1,322 pounds of downforce at 149 mph. The carbon monocoque chassis is paired with Formula 1-inspired pushrod front suspension and a five-link rear setup— like the Ford GT—ensuring precise handling.
16.1-inch carbon-ceramic rotors haul in the car's speed, while Valhalla-specific Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires are tasked with delivering lateral and longitudinal grip.
Butterfly doors open to a minimalist cabin filled with exposed carbon and a compact, F1-style butterfly steering wheel. A carbon-fiber dash serves as the mounting point for digital displays, and the seats feature a single-piece carbon frame. Despite the track-focused design this is no spartan race car, Aston Martin has included luxuries like a Bowers & Wilkins stereo, Alcantara trim, Apple CarPlay, and navigation.
With production limited to just 999 units, the Valhalla will be an exclusive addition to Aston Martin’s lineup. Deliveries are slated to begin in the second quarter of 2025, and while pricing hasn’t been announced, expect it to reflect its hypercar credentials.
