2025 Corolla Cross: All The Details
The 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross returns with minimal changes. Updates include matte-black mirror caps and shark-fin antennas on the L and S trims, with gloss black versions on all other grades. Minor badging tweaks are also notable: the AWD badge has been relocated to the rear, and hybrid models now sport an HEV badge on the liftgate.
Under the hood, the Corolla Cross is powered by a 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine, delivering 169 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque in gas-only models. The hybrid version pairs the same engine with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, producing a combined 196 horsepower and achieving an EPA-estimated 42 mpg. Hybrid models also benefit from a higher compression ratio of 14:1 compared to 13:1 in the gas variants
Pricing starts at $24,035 for the front-wheel-drive Corolla Cross L and $28,395 for the all-wheel-drive Hybrid S. Customers can choose between a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for gas models and an eCVT for hybrids. The hybrid system includes MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear suspension, while gas-powered front-wheel-drive models use a torsion-beam rear end. Upgrading to AWD adds $1,300 to the base price.
