The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek continues to be one of the best-selling subcompact crossovers in America, offering a mix of capability, style, and value.

For 2025, the Crosstrek lineup features minor pricing adjustments, starting at $27,115 for the base model. This version is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine producing 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque.

Upgrading to the Crosstrek Premium at $28,365 brings the option for a larger 2.5-liter engine making 182 hp, available on the Sport ($30,915), Limited ($32,815), and the off-road-focused Wilderness ($33,915) trims. The Wilderness trim stands out with its 9.3 inches of ground clearance, rugged styling, and extra underbody protection.

Despite the slight price bump, the Crosstrek remains an affordable, feature-rich option. The 2025 models now also offer various option packages, including upgrades for blind-spot detection, premium audio systems, and integrated navigation.

Surprised that they kept the weak base engine, that and the CVT remain sore points for this vehicle and Subaru should have made the 2.5L engine, which is no barn burner, standard. IMO.

Yep, I would like to like this car. A turbo and a real transmission would do it.
