The 21 Cars No One Wants Right Now

A high volume of Volvos and a plethora of plug-ins make the list.
Six of the vehicles on our list of the least-researched cars of March, 2025, come from a single brand: Volvo. A slew of the Swedish-designed machines were on last month’s list, too, but seeing so many of them this month, including at the very bottom with the XC40 Recharge, really makes the lack of interest stand out.

A couple of Lexus models – the LS 500h and RC 350 – also appear on the least-researched list, which was compiled using data provided exclusively to AutoGuide via AutoFinder.com — an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck or SUV.
Two versions of Cadillac’s high-performance Escalade-V luxury sport utility vehicle, and both the BMW M3 and M4, also stand out.
It’s impossible not to notice the high number of hybrid vehicles on the least-researched list (including all those Volvo Recharge models). It’s possible internet researchers don’t include the PHEV descriptor in their searches, but we can’t say for certain. The hydrogen-powered Honda CR-V Fuel Cell repeats its inclusion on this list, which isn’t surprising considering it’s only available to a small number of buyers who live near hydrogen fueling stations.
Several of the least-researched cars in America are, like Honda’s hydrogen SUV, low-production machines. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan stands out as the most expensive car on the list, along with a pair of pricey Maserati models and the Aston Martin Vanquish.

anyone who has been made to enjoy the drudgery of rechargeable batteries surely want nothing to do with four wheels of it;
BMW M3 and M4 make sense. No one is thinking about buying them.... they're SURE they're buying them.
