The 10 Cars No One Is Interested In Right Now

Just because a car doesn’t generate a whole lot of interest from people using the internet to research their next purchase doesn’t mean that car is bad.
Take, for instance, the Nissan GT-R. It’s an amazing car, and even though it’s not quite the Godzilla-size giant-slayer that it was back in 2009 when it was first introduced, it’s still widely considered a future classic.
According to data provided exclusively to AutoGuide via AutoFinder.com — an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck or SUV, the Nissan GT-R ties for last place on this month’s list of the least-researched vehicles in America. It’s joined by some pretty fancy company, too.

We’ve noticed a trend over the past several months that carries forth into this month’s rankings of the least-researched cars. Automakers with thinly sliced portfolios tend to perform poorly in search results. We think that’s probably because there are just too many variants for researchers to search for – Audi’s multiple body styles and powertrain options qualify here, as does the Cadillac Escalade-V that’s offered in multiple wheelbase sizes.
If we were to expand the results out a bit further, we’d see that there’s one full-size pickup truck in the bottom 25, and the fact that it’s the Nissan Titan isn’t going to surprise anyone. The Titan doesn’t have much life left in it, and has consistently been the slowest-selling truck in its segment. The Titan ties with the Bentley Bentayga, Lexus RC 300, Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, and Volvo S90 Recharge in 400th place.

One reason no one is researching the majority of these cars is that they are expensive and over-priced as hell, consumers are fighting back.
