People Don't Care About These 10 Cars Right Now

Three Audis, a pair each of Aston Martin and Cadillac models, a Bentley, and a Volvo. What do they all have in common? People aren’t researching them online right now.
Last month’s list of the cars no one is interested in right now varied widely by vehicle segment and the would-be buyer’s financial situation. This month’s list looks quite a bit different and is almost entirely populated by expensive luxury cars and SUVs. But one thing stays the same: Automakers that offer multiple versions of a single nameplate tend to show up on the least-researched list.

397. Audi A6 Sportback e-tron |
398. Lexus LC 500 Convertible |
399. Aston Martin DBX |
399. Aston Martin Vantage |
399. Audi RS 6 Avant Performance |
399. Audi RS Q8 Performance |
399. Bentley Bentayga EWB |
399. Cadillac Escalade-V |
399. Cadillac Escalade-V ESV |
399. Volvo XC40 Recharge |
As you can see from the list above, which was compiled using data provided exclusively to AutoGuide via AutoFinder.com — an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck or SUV, eight vehicles tie for 399th place, which is the last spot on the list.
If we were to expand the list to the bottom 25, we’d see five more models from Audi, three more from Volvo, another Lexus, and another Bentley (that’d be the non-long-wheelbase version of the Bentayga).
As we’ve pointed out in past versions of this report, automakers with confusing lineups and multiple models that share similar naming conventions seem to dilute their potential for online clicks. When it’s a premium automaker with a range of vehicles that extend well into six-digit territory, the problem is further exacerbated.
