The 2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack Is The Most Powerful Car Under $55,000

The lineup will offer two output levels from its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six, paired with standard all-wheel drive and the ability to switch to rear-wheel drive at the push of a button. The entry-level R/T starts at $51,990 including destination, while the more potent Scat Pack begins at $56,990. Opting for a four-door body adds $2,000 to either price—Dodge is charging $1,000 per door.
The R/T’s standard-output version of the Hurricane produces 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque, while the Scat Pack’s high-output configuration delivers 550 hp and 531 lb-ft, thanks to forged internals and increased boost pressure. Dodge says the Charger is the most powerful car available for less than $55,000
Dodge estimates a 0–60 mph time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter-mile run of 12.2 seconds for the Scat Pack, with power sent through a revised eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic.
Both models come with performance-minded hardware like a limited-slip rear differential, launch control, line lock, active exhaust, and Performance Pages for real-time telemetry.
Scat Pack versions further benefit from six-piston Brembo front brakes and 20-by-10-inch diamond-cut wheels, with the option for wider 20-by-11-inch wheels wrapped in 305-section rubber. The Sixpack’s styling closely follows the Charger EV, though changes like a traditional grille and unique suspension setups front and rear accommodate the cooling and dynamics required by the gas powertrain. Dodge says handling balance is improved by 25% compared to the last-generation Scat Pack, with a more neutral feel in corners.
Order books for the two-door Scat Pack open August 13, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2025. The base R/T and all four-door versions will follow in the first half of 2026. Scat Pack and Daytona Scat Pack buyers will be given a day of performance driving instruction at Radford Racing School, the official high-performance driving school of Dodge//SRT.
Dodge CEO Matt McAlear hinted that the platform could accommodate other engines — including a possible return of the Hellcat V8 — if market demand and regulations allow. Stellantis is putting the V8 in everything these days, I'd bet on it arriving sooner rather than later.

Yes, I feel Sorry for Dodge and Chrysler Employees future is bleak.
Management has not done them Any favors since Lee Iacocca Retired in 1991.
First they avoided the hostile takeover by selling sold out to Daimler Benz thinking they could benefit from European thinking, Then after recovering from that in the late 2000's they decided to Merge with Fiat, then after that failure they got gobbled up by Stellantis.
I know it isn't easy to keep a car company going when the Media demands them to flashy to be relevant
and the Public wants the product to be cheap and affordable.
Chrysler has survived aon niche product but you would think that as late as they were to the BEV game they could make the ICE Charger closer to the $30,000 rather than $50,000
