Honda is expanding its U.S. lineup with the addition of the 2026 CR-V TrailSport Hybrid, a new entry into the growing segment of soft-roaders that blend on-road comfort with mild off-road capability.

The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid joins a competitive market of rugged, compact SUVs like the Subaru Forester Wilderness, Toyota RAV4 TRD Off-Road, and Kia Sportage X-Pro.
The 2026 CR-V TrailSport Hybrid features several upgrades aimed at improving off-road traction without sacrificing daily driving comfort.
The most notable change is the addition of Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires mounted on 18-inch wheels.
Honda claims these tires improve traction on dirt, sand, mud, snow, and rocky terrain, while still providing a smooth, quiet ride on paved roads.
The TrailSport Hybrid is powered by a hybrid powertrain that delivers 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.
It comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) and is equipped with an improved traction management system that optimizes power distribution to the wheels for enhanced stability and control when driving off the beaten path.
Visually, the TrailSport model stands out with a silver-finished front fascia, black-painted door handles, window surrounds, rear spoiler, and orange TrailSport badges.
A larger 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and new Google Built-In infotainment software are available on the Sport Touring trim and above.
The software includes a three-year data plan, with the option to continue after the initial period for an additional cost.
The interior features orange stitching, rubber floor mats for easy cleaning, and amber ambient lighting to complement the rugged exterior design.
