QOTD Friday Fun—What Would Be Your Classic Car EV Conversion?

Today’s Friday Fun is all about mixing old with new. Our question of the day is simple: what classic car would you love to transform into a modern EV restro-rod? Yes, take out that old, unreliable anchor of an engine and replace it with a torque-filled electric motor, or better yet, multiple motors. Anything goes; the sky is the limit.

For me, I would love to convert a Bricklin SV-1 into an EV (including some electric door actuators). It would be a blast cruising around town, silently roasting the rear tires at will. Plus, it isn’t one of those cars that the purists would be after my head for switching up the power source. Maybe if I'm really ambitious, I'll put an electric motor up front too to power those wheels.

Now it is your turn. What would be your choice?
