Evenflo Child-Safety Car Seats Recalled for Choking Risk

The recall affects the Gold Revolve360 Slim and Revolve360 Slim models manufactured between December 1, 2022, and December 8, 2024. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the issue stems from the head-restraint foam, which isn’t adequately secured. That makes it possible for a child to pull off small pieces of the foam and swallow them, creating a potential choking hazard.
Evenflo is currently aware of a total of 11 reports of children accessing the foam in the headrest of the variants of the Revolve360 Slim, and eight occasions when a child ingested the foam.
As a remedy, Evenflo will mail owners free tape seals and updated installation instructions designed to secure the foam more effectively. Notification letters are scheduled to begin going out on October 31, 2025, but owners don’t have to wait.
