2027 Toyota TRD Pro Lineup Gets New Custom Colors – But That's Not All
Toyota has officially detailed updates for its 2027 TRD Pro truck and SUV lineup, introducing fresh exterior color options alongside mechanical refinements focused on chassis performance and driver control.
Continuing its tradition of offering exclusive annual paint finishes for the TRD Pro series, Toyota announced the addition of "Honeycomb" to the color palette for the 2027 Tundra, Sequoia, and Tacoma. The 4Runner receives its own variant of the hue, designated as "Hot Honey." These distinctive finishes serve as visual markers for the brand's off-road-focused trim level.

Beyond aesthetic updates, the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro models feature notable hardware improvements. Key among these updates is the adoption of vehicle-specifically tuned FOX enhanced QS3 shocks. These dampers are engineered to offer enhanced stability, improved terrain feedback, and straightforward manual adjustability, allowing drivers to tailor damping characteristics based on off-road demands or highway conditions.
Functional exterior elements remain central to the TRD Pro identity, with red recovery tow hooks now fitted as standard equipment. On the interior, Toyota continues to offer its ISO-dynamic performance seats for the Tundra and Tacoma. Utilizing an internal air-over-oil shock system, these seats are designed to damp lateral and vertical body movement, helping reduce driver fatigue during high-speed off-road use.
Toyota indicates that full specifications, fuel economy ratings, and pricing details for the 2027 Tundra and Sequoia TRD Pro models will be finalized closer to the vehicles' production start in fall 2026.
As with standard production models, the 2027 TRD Pro vehicles include Toyota's standard coverage packages: a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Hybrid components receive 8-year/100,000-mile coverage, while the hybrid battery pack is covered for 10 years or 150,000 miles. ToyotaCare complimentary maintenance is included for one year or 10,000 miles, alongside two years of unlimited-mileage roadside assistance.
