Aston Martin Unveils DB12 S Trio at Monterey Car Week
Aston Martin has detailed its lineup for the 2026 Monterey Car Week, highlighted by three bespoke DB12 S models created by the company's "Q by Aston Martin" customization division and the show debut of the Vanquish 25 Special Edition.
DB12 S 'VMF' Special Editions
To mark the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Aston Martin commissioned a trio of DB12 S Coupes inspired by the company's 1951 factory racing team. The original team campaigned three DB2 race cars wearing British registration plates beginning with "VMF," with each car distinguished by a different colored grille.
The modern trio—designated VMF 63, VMF 64, and VMF 65—features Carbon Black exterior paint, painted grille vanes, painted carbon-fiber side strakes, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler overlay, and "75" fender roundel graphics. Each car receives distinct accent colors:
- VMF 63: Rosso Red exterior and interior detailing
- VMF 64: Speed Yellow exterior and interior detailing
- VMF 65: Ellwood Blue exterior and interior detailing
Interior modifications across all three cars include color-coordinated stitching, an embroidered DB2 silhouette on the front seatbacks, "75" graphics on the rear headrests, custom sill plates, and painted start/stop switches and paddle shifter tips.

Vanquish 25 Special Edition and Monterey Events
Aston Martin will also display the Vanquish 25 Special Edition at its private hospitality venue near the Poppy Hills Golf Course. Produced in limited numbers by Q by Aston Martin, the model marks the 25th anniversary of the original V12 Vanquish debut, incorporating design cues from the 2001 original alongside updated interior trim and materials.
The brand's presence during the week includes the "Astons On The Avenue" gathering on Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea on August 12, a dedicated exhibit at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering on August 14, and displays featuring the Valhalla supercar alongside current performance-focused "S" variants including the Vantage S and DBX S.
