The 10 Cars People Are Researching The Most Right Now

The Ford F-Series of pickup trucks may lead the sales charts in the United States, but a certain competitor wearing a golden bowtie generates more interest among online researchers.
This is the fourth month in a row that the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has beaten the Ford F-150 for the top spot on the most-researched vehicles list. While we doubt that Ford is losing any sleep over the possibility that it loses its title as the best-selling vehicle line in the United States, this online data suggests the Silverado’s popularity is surging past its bitter rival.
It’s worth pointing out that Ford lumps all of its full-size pickup trucks into one entry on the sales chart, so we don’t know the exact mix between the F-150, F-250, F-350, or any of its other pickup siblings on the salesroom floor. In any case, in many years, the overall truck charts are actually led by General Motors when sales are combined between both the Chevy and GMC divisions.

Other pickup trucks that earn a spot on our most-researched vehicles list are the aforementioned GMC Sierra 1500, Toyota Tacoma, and Ram 1500. If we kept going, we’d see the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 in 14th place (just ahead of the full-size Chevy Tahoe SUV), the Chevrolet Colorado in 20th place, and the Toyota Tundra in 23rd.
Interestingly, the Ram 2500 and Ford Maverick round out the list of the top 10 most-researched pickup trucks ahead of any Ford Super Duty machines.
Moving past the pickups, the Toyota RAV4 remains in third place while the Hyundai Palisade climbs into fourth, displacing the Toyota Camry in its wake. The Toyota Tacoma leapfrogged the Ram 1500 on this month’s most-researched vehicles list, while the Jeep Wrangler fell out of the top 10. In that final spot sits the Nissan Rogue, a hot seller in the ultra-competitive compact crossover segment.
