The 10 SUVs People Are Researching The Most Right Now

In what’s beginning to sound like a broken record, the Jeep Wrangler held on to its title as the most-researched SUV in the month of June.

In fact, all 10 of the vehicles we’re highlighting here carry over from last month, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing of interest to note. The finishing order of the top 10 has moved around quite a bit compared to the month prior, and we’ll break down the movers and shakers right after we give you the actual results.

Top 10 SUVs Researched In June 2025

Jeep Wrangler

Chevrolet Tahoe

Toyota 4Runner

Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hyundai Santa Fe

Nissan Pathfinder

Ford Bronco

Honda Pilot

Dodge Durango

Chevrolet Suburban

The Jeep Wrangler, Chevrolet Tahoe, Toyota 4Runner, and Jeep Grand Cherokee held steady in the first-through-fourth slots in June. America’s favorite go-anywhere-with-the-wind-in-your-hair SUV has held the top spot all year. While the Grand Cherokee hasn't changed much in the past few years, the Tahoe received a refresh for 2025 and the 4Runner got a major redesign last year that is likely propelling its rise in the most-researched SUV rankings.

The Hyundai Santa Fe and Nissan Pathfinder, as we point out every month, are really more like car-based crossovers than traditional body-on-frame SUVs, but our data partner AutoFinder.com — an automotive marketplace featuring over 3 million new and used vehicle listings, connecting consumers with top dealerships nationwide to easily find and secure the best deal on a car, truck or SUV — lumps them in with SUVs. The same applies to the Honda Pilot in eighth spot.

The Ford Bronco has been making inroads on the Wrangler’s sales title over the last few years, but it still trails both in overall units sold and on the list of the most-researched SUVs. The Dodge Durango continues to be a surprise entry on the list, considering it hasn’t received a major update since 2011. We’d guess the continued availability of ridiculously overpowered supercharged Hemi V8s doesn’t hurt its online popularity. And the Chevrolet Suburban that wraps up the top 10 is a stalwart family machine that has proved its staying power on the sales floor and the most-researched chart.

Turning our attention back to car-based crossovers, the Toyota RAV4 continues to lead the most-researched CUV list in June.

Top 10 Crossovers Researched In June 2025

Toyota RAV4

Hyundai Palisade

Nissan Rogue

Chevrolet Equinox

Toyota Highlander

Honda CR-V

Lexus RX 350

Chevrolet Traverse

Ford Explorer

Toyota Grand Highlander

Remember how all 10 SUVs carried over from last month? The same is true of the crossover segment. Right behind the RAV4 is the Hyundai Palisade, again in the runner-up position it enjoyed last month. The Nissan Rogue and Chevy Equinox swapped places this month, and the Toyota Highlander jumped the Lexus RX and Chevrolet Traverse. The Honda CR-V went from eighth last month to sixth in June, and the Ford Explorer and Toyota Grand Highlander stayed put in ninth and 10th, respectively.
