A Tesla in Tijuana, Mexico, caught fire after being illegally connected directly to a powerline.

The intense blaze not only destroyed the car but also spread to a neighboring house. Tijuana's fire chief, Rafael Carrillo, reported that electric car fires pose significant challenges for firefighters in the city. He noted that the partially burnt Tesla could take a couple of days to fully burn out and likely couldn't be moved until then. To manage the fire, firefighters built dirt berms around the car to keep it covered in water.

Regardless which brand EV he owned, he was going to illegally connect it to a powerline.

ONE EV idiot and the world hears about it! Meanwhile ICE cars are catching fire every day, and nobody thinks THAT is news.

Seems the Powers that Be make sure any bad news about EVs gets published WHILE ICE cars are causing huge health problems AND probably the greatest cause of Climate Change... floods, fires, huricanes, etc etc etc.
