Dodge has announced pricing for the 2024 Charger Daytona EV. The Charger Daytona R/T starts at $61,950, while the Scat Pack is priced at $75,185.

The official announcement follows the leak of a screenshot earlier this week containing the Charger's alleged prices. The R/T comes with the "Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade Package," providing 496 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. The Scat Pack includes the "Stage 2" package, offering 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Both models qualify for a $7,500 tax credit if leased but may not meet the full tax credit requirements when purchased.

Compared to previous models, these new EVs are significantly more expensive. The 2023 Challenger R/T started at $43,245, and the R/T Scat Pack was $50,860. The Challenger SRT Hellcat Jailbreak was priced at $72,890.

The Scat Pack includes a "Track Package" with Brembo brakes, adaptive dampers, upgraded seats, and a video data logger. Optional packages include the $4,995 Plus Group, adding interior upgrades and a 360-degree camera system, and the $2,495 Sun and Sound Package with a glass roof and Alpine sound system.

Production of the two-door Charger Daytona will start soon, with four-door models following in the first half of next year. The gas-powered Charger, featuring Stellantis' new twin-turbo straight-six, will begin production in the second half of 2025.

The higher prices and shift to EVs pose challenges for Dodge, as many muscle car fans are resistant to these changes.
