Porsche Panamera Gets Faster Every Year

This is the most powerful Porsche Panamera ever.

In addition to holding a Nurburgring lap record, the new Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is now the most powerful Panamera ever, with 771 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque. Power is split as such: the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 pushes out 591 hp, while an electric motor housed in the transmission adds another 187 horsepower (more than an entire Mazda Miata).

As a result, 0-60 mph passes in just 2.8 seconds. Porsche has also upgraded the E-Hybrid’s battery, bumping capacity to 25.9 kilowatt-hours, and introduced new items like an optional carbon fiber aero kit, center locking wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and optional Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The Panamera also gets the GTS treatment for 2025, with a 20-hp bump to 493 horsepower from its V8. GTS models sit .4 inches lower than standard models thanks to a suspension drop, with the new sedan packing upgraded anti-roll bars and a re-worked limited-slip diff.

As a result of the power bump, 0-60 mph falls to 3.6 seconds — a tenth of a second faster than last year’s GTS. You’ll be doing 188 mph when the Panamera GTS hits its top speed. Both new Panameras will arrive in 2025, with the hybrid running a hefty $228,495. GTS buyers will shell out a more palatable $156,195.
