Cadillac XT6 Overview

The Cadillac XT6 is a luxury three-row SUV designed for comfort over outright performance. Positioned just below the Escalade, the XT6 offers a refined ride with a focus on long-distance cruising. It features a sleek, wagon-like design that emphasizes Cadillac’s latest styling cues, with available 20-inch wheels and an upscale exterior.

Inside, the XT6 delivers on premium feel with semi-aniline leather seats, suede trim, and a well-appointed cabin. Standard tech includes an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital rearview mirror, and a surround-view camera. Safety features like emergency braking, lane keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring come standard.

Power comes from a 3.6-liter V6 producing 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This is on the model we tested. A 4-cylinder turbo model is also available. The XT6 is available with adaptive dampers and a twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system in Sport trim, but it prioritizes ride quality over sharp handling. Fuel economy averages 20 mpg.

While it lacks the driving engagement of German rivals, the XT6 offers a spacious third row and a smooth ride. However, pricing escalates quickly, putting it in competition with more dynamic alternatives.

New for 2025, the Platinum Package, available on Premium Luxury and Sport trims, now includes Super Cruise and Night Vision.
