Nissan Rogue Overview

The 2026 Nissan Rogue is a family-oriented crossover that emphasizes technology, style, and versatility. The starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2026 model is $28,790.

A key update for the 2026 model year is the introduction of the new Dark Armor grade. This trim level builds on the Rogue SV and features several distinct aesthetic and functional upgrades. It includes gloss black exterior accents on the mirrors, badges, pillar trim, and grille bars. The Dark Armor grade also comes equipped with 19-inch gloss black wheels and satin black roof rails. Additional features for this trim include an HD Intelligent Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a panoramic moonroof, and both heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Pricing for the Dark Armor grade will be announced at a later date.

The Rogue lineup also includes the adventure-focused Rock Creek edition, which features all-terrain tires and a unique front fascia. Technology options across the range include an available 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, integrating apps like Google Assistant and Google Maps. The Platinum trim offers ProPILOT 2.1, a hands-free driving assist system for single-lane highway use. All 2026 Rogue models come standard with Nissan Safety Shield® 360. The vehicle is powered by a VC-Turbo engine, offering an EPA-estimated fuel economy of up to 32 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive models.

Subaru Forester vs Nissan Rogue Comparison: Normcore Crossovers

It’s time for a rematch.

A few years ago, we brought together just about every one of the most popular compact(ish) crossovers for  one mega comparison. There, the fresher  Nissan  Rogue captured third place, while  Subaru’s aging  Forester still earned a respectable mid-pack finish.

Here at the onset of 2025, the Forester is new once more—and for a change, actually looks like it—while Nissan just refreshed the Rogue last year. As two of the worthy alternatives to the best-sellers of the segment, both Mike Schlee and I needed to find out which one is now the best.

2024 Nissan Rogue Platinum Review: Quiet Confidence

It was a tough act to follow.

This fully loaded 2024  Nissan Rogue Platinum came to me immediately after the  Porsche 718 Spyder RS. That stripped-out race car for the road was one of my standouts for the year, perfectly tailored to deliver on its mission statement: driver enjoyment.

In an odd way, the Rogue is similar, built precisely for a specific job. Nissan’s top-selling model is not the most engaging nor adventurous choice in the segment, but it blends into the daily grind like it was made for it.

2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum AWD Review: Quick Take

Last month, we held a massive 2022 AutoGuide Compact SUV comparison presented by NRS brakes.

During our evaluations, a lot of time was spent in each of the eleven vehicles, weighing their pros and cons. One of the stronger entries in the comparison was the third-place finishing 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum AWD. We are now going to take a deeper look into how it achieved a podium finish.

Rarely, is a new model this much improved over the old model. But that truly is the case with the new generation Rogue. It’s like a professional sports player that gets sent down to the minor leagues to work on a few things and comes back as a superstar. The updates to the recently reinvented Rogue has shot this small SUV right to the lead pack in the segment. And for 2022, it’s even better.

Best Small SUV | Testing (almost) Every Compact SUV

Welcome to the single most important comparison we will have all year. The AutoGuide 2022 Best Small SUV Comparison sponsored by NRS Brakes.

The average family car these days isn’t even a car at all anymore. Compact SUVs are the sweet spot these days, selling thousands of examples every single day in Canada and the United States. So we’ve assembled 11 of them, from all corners of the market, to figure out which one is best. Yes, eleven. Go big or go home, they say. It’s time for AutoGuide 2022 Best Small SUV Comparison.

This group covers all the big hitters, including the segment-leading Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. Mazda sent us two SUVs, in the shapes of the subtly different CX-5 and CX-50. More rugged options like the Ford Bronco Sport and Jeep Compass are here, too. Amongst the pack are of course a few hybrids as well. If you’re shopping this part of the market, at least a few of these SUVs will be on your short list.
