2027 Kia K4 and K4 Hatchback Arrive With Minimal Updates
Kia has announced official pricing for the 2027 K4 compact lineup. Following its recent debut as the replacement for the longstanding Forte, the 2027 model year carries over largely unchanged, receiving subtle package tweaks and new color combinations across both the sedan and hatchback body styles.
The changes for 2027 are incremental. Kia added 18-inch black alloy wheels to the optional GT-Line Premium Package on both sedan and hatchback variants. Meanwhile, GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo versions of the K4 sedan gain access to a new red interior upholstery option paired specifically with Steel Gray exterior paint.
Powertrains carry over across the board. Lower trims (LX, LXS, and EX) rely on a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine generating 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). Step up to the GT-Line Turbo and you get a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder putting out 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Pricing for the entry-level 2027 Kia K4 LX sedan starts at $22,390, excluding a $1,245 destination charge. The practical five-door K4 Hatchback opens in EX trim at $25,090, while the range-topping K4 Hatchback GT-Line Turbo tops the price sheet at $28,990.
