Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has introduced the Proxes G-Tour, a new grand touring all-season tire aimed at popular passenger cars, crossovers, and SUVs.

Designed as an original equipment replacement option, the Proxes G-Tour targets drivers seeking a balance of quiet ride comfort, long tread life, and all-weather traction. The tire is optimized for low rolling resistance to maximize efficiency across gasoline, hybrid, and battery-electric powertrains.

Noise Reduction and Tread Technology

To keep road noise to a minimum, Toyo incorporated a five-variable pitch pattern into an asymmetrical tread design. The inner and outer tread zones feature specific engineering elements to manage varied road conditions:

High-stiffness center ribs and reinforced outer tread blocks maintain stability and firm cornering grip during spirited driving. Beveled tread blocks and deep circumferential grooves channel water away from the contact patch to combat hydroplaning in heavy rain. Multi-wave sipes cut into the tread compound aid in light snow traction while preventing irregular wear patterns over time.

"The Proxes G-Tour is an exciting addition to the Toyo Tires lineup and a new benchmark in our grand touring all-season category,” said Cameron Parsons, technical field manager and business development at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. "Through our latest innovations in tire construction and compound technology, the Proxes G-Tour delivers long tread life with confident wet and dry performance for everyday driving."

Sizing, Fitments, and Warranty Coverage

Toyo plans to produce the Proxes G-Tour in over 70 unique size and load combinations. The line covers wheel diameters ranging from 16 to 22 inches, with speed ratings spanning T, H, V, and W.

Initial sizes hit retail channels starting this month, with additional fitments rolling out through the end of the year.

Expected target vehicles include popular models from Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Lexus, Tesla, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

Toyo backs T- and H-rated sizes with a 65,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, while higher-performance V- and W-rated sizes carry a 55,000-mile warranty. All sizes include Toyo's 45-day or 500-mile trial offer.
