First Look At F1 25 From EA Sports

EA Sports has officially revealed F1 25 ahead of its launch on May 30, 2025. Developed by Codemasters, the new title brings a range of updates, including a revamped story mode, upgraded team management features, and exclusive content for early adopters.
Headlining the announcement is the return of Braking Point, the game’s cinematic story mode. Now featuring the Konnersport team battling for a championship, players will navigate high-stakes drama as a major event threatens to unravel the team’s season. This year’s edition includes new difficulty options, catering to both seasoned players and first-time racers.
Players who pre-order the F1 25 Iconic Edition will gain access to bonus content, including special chapters tied to the upcoming F1 film releasing in June, which follows the fictional APXGP team. Additional perks include early access up to three days ahead of launch and 2025 season liveries available in F1 24.
For the first time since its introduction, My Team mode receives a major overhaul. Players will now take on broader management duties as team owners while still racing as one of the drivers. The expanded responsibilities are designed to offer a deeper, more immersive career experience.
On the technical front, F1 25 continues to build on the capabilities of the EGO engine. Codemasters has employed LIDAR technology to increase track accuracy and deliver improved visual realism across circuits and surrounding environments. More gameplay innovations are expected to be revealed through the upcoming Deep Dive video series.
“F1 25 delivers more ways for players to experience Formula 1 and race their way, from the drama of Braking Point to making headlines in the pursuit of World Championship glory,” said Lee Mather, Senior Creative Director at Codemasters.
The game arrives in the same year Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary, and the 2025 driver line-up features one of the most dramatic shake-ups in recent memory, including Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari. F1 25 will allow players to relive and reshape the season’s biggest moments through both single-player and new collaborative game modes.
