Stellantis is pushing ahead with aggressive incentives for the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV, offering 0% financing for up to 72 months.

Dodge's early financing incentive on the Charger EV is a strong plea to attract buyers ahead of the car's official release. CarsDirect says the six-year, 0% financing deal is currently available only in the Northeast, Southern, and Central United States, with no word on whether West Coast customers will be included.

Regardless, it's a strong escalation ahead of the car's debut and could signal doubts about the electric car's ultimate success. There were rumors earlier this month that Dodge was planning to prioritize production of combustion-powered cars at the expense of the electric model—those rumors were never confirmed nor denied.

The 0% financing on the Charger Daytona mirrors similar offers from Stellantis on other electrfied vehicles, including the 2024 Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee 4xe models, as well as the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, which also qualify for the same financing terms. Dodge is yet to confirm if the Charger Daytona will be eligible for the $7,500 tax credit when purchased outright.

Leasing the Charger Daytona definitely triggers the $7,500 EV tax credit for those who choose this route. Stellantis is also offering $1,000 loyalty cash to returning lessees, which, if eligible could gain you $8,500 off the new coupe. Pricing for the Charger Daytona EV starts at $61,590 for the R/T model, which delivers 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. The higher-performance Scat Pack model, starting at $75,185, produces 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque, with a 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 11.5 seconds.

Dodge is planning to host media next month for a first taste of the Daytona EV. More to come.
