The 2026 Ford Maverick Gets a Discount—With a Catch

The '26 Maverick shaves $1,000 off its base price, so long as buyers want a front-drive non-hybrid model.
Ford on Monday announced pricing for the 2026 Maverick lineup. The affordable compact truck saw substantial updates earlier this year, so '26 is all about small tweaks. Chief amongst the updates is the return of a front-drive EcoBoost model, which slots in with the lowest MSRP of the whole family.
Remember when Ford debuted the Maverick, proudly pushing it as a sub-$20k truck? (Nevermind that it didn't include the non-negotiable destination.) How far we've come: the base price for the 2026 Maverick XL, with the standard front-drive hybrid powertrain, is now $29,840 including destination, $100 more than '25 all from an increase in destination charges. However, buyers can now spec the front-drive model with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, knocking a cool $1,000 off the sticker. Ford has also realigned the pricing on AWD EcoBoost models, which now cost the same as the front-drive hybrid option on the XL ($29,840) and XLT ($32,340) trims. Lariat and Tremor models see their power-sliding rear windows moved to the options list, shaving a couple hundred bucks off their respective stickers as well.
Elsewhere, a full-size spare is a standalone option with broader availability, while two new exterior paint colors—Orange Fury Metallic Tri-Coat and Marsh Gray—join the lineup. Ford says XL, Lariat, and hybrid AWD models all see increased production, which should help availability on dealer lots. The fun-loving Lobo, the new on-road performance trim inspired by the street trucks of the '90s, holds steady in price.
The full trim-by-trim pricing breakdown is as follows, with destination charges included:
