2026 Subaru Outback: All The Details
Subaru has introduced the all-new 2026 Outback at the New York International Auto Show, marking the debut of the seventh generation of the brand’s long-running crossover.
The 2026 Outback features a redesigned exterior paired with a more modern interior that includes a standard 12.1-inch central touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster across all trims. Subaru has also updated its EyeSight driver assistance suite, which now supports hands-free highway driving under driver supervision at speeds up to 85 mph.
Interior improvements include enhanced sound insulation and increased passenger space, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable ride. As with previous generations, Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive remains standard, and the vehicle continues to offer 8.7 inches of ground clearance along with X-Mode for added traction in low-grip conditions.
The 2026 Outback is expected to reach U.S. dealerships in late 2025. Pricing and full specifications will be announced closer to launch.
