IMO, the best capable Toyota ever built. The suicide door arrangement is the only way to build a 4 door 4wd intended for accessing equipment and passengers........ and I'm a Rubicon owner. Downside: Turning radius too wide and 1st low is too high for low range wheeling. A shame that Toyota didn't continue developing this winner.
The best off road vehicle Toyota ever produced. Being a Wrangler owner the only downside I experienced wheeling my brother's FJ cruiser was its poor turning radius. It's a little scary needing to back it up on those Black Bear switchbacks. Loved accessing camping gear through the innovative side doors; something two door Jeeps continue to ignore. Toyota was vapid indeed for not continuing to develop this model.
