2016 Chevy Camaro SS Hits 60 MPH in Four Seconds

Chevy has released performance statistics for the new Camaro, which can hit 60 miles per hour from a standstill in four seconds in SS trim.
Equipped with the 455-hp 6.2-liter V8 and an eight-speed automatic transmission, Chevy says that the quarter-mile sprint for the Camaros SS will take 12.3 seconds, while cornering G-forces max out at 0.97G. Pair the big V8 with the six-speed manual transmission and the car will sprint to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. Thanks in part to Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 run-flat summer-only tires, 60-0 mph braking happens in 117 feet.
With the 355-hp 3.6-liter V6 and automatic transmission, the car will run to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, while opting for the manual transmission comes with a penalty of 0.1 seconds, taking the 0-60 time to 5.2 seconds. Quarter miles times are 13.5 seconds for the automatic and 13.7 for the manual. Maximum lateral grip is pegged at 0.89G.

With the auto box, that time grows to 5.5 seconds. Running the quarter mile with the small turbo engine will take 14 seconds with both the manual and automatic transmission.
Curb weights were also released for the new Camaro, with the base model car losing 368 pounds compared to its predecessor to sit at 3,339 lbs when equipped with an automatic transmission. With the 3.6-liter V6, the car has lost 294 lbs. and now packs a curb weight of 3,435 lbs with the auto box. The top-dog SS model has lost 223 lbs., sitting at 3,685 lbs with a manual transmission.
The 2016 Camaro goes on sale later this year, with a starting price of $26,695 for the Camaro 1LT, climbing to $37,295 for the 1SS model.

You are such an idiot. You can't argue the facts so you insult and make ridiculous claims and have no idea what you are talking about.
This was an hilarious read. I wonder if Ford and GM look at it as a HP per liter thing or a $$ per HP thing?
