Find everything you need to know about the Ram 1500 here, along with expert reviews, specs, photos, videos and more.

The Ram 1500 is the smoothest riding full-size American pick-up truck. Although it may lack the number of configurations of some of its rivals, Ram makes up for it in style and luxury. The V8 Hemi is no more as it has been replaced by a powerful turbocharged inline-six cylinder Hurricane engine family.

Pros

Classy interior, smooth ride, stout powertrains

Cons

Nno short-cab, lacks ultimate towing capacity, no more V8

Bottom Line

The latest Ram 1500 is one smooth operator, with a calm and composed on-road ride while maintaining its tough workhorse abilities needed. The new turbo engines pack a powerful punch.

2025 Ram 1500 First Drive Review: Back on Top

For a few minutes outside of Austin, Texas, I genuinely forgot we were in a truck.

I’m riding shotgun in the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten, a whole new range-topping trim that debuts alongside a substantial facelift for the model year. Between the massaging seat, hushed cabin, pillowy ride, and a barely audible but oddly Germanic thrum up ahead, it’s easy to forget there’s a 67-inch bed slung way out back. Heck, some SUVs from accomplished luxury brands don’t feel this swanky.

That the nearly six-figure model impresses isn’t surprising. Thankfully, the rest of the 1500 lineup benefits from the same goodness, and on first impressions, it appears Ram’s rig could once again be the truck to beat.

2025 Ram 1500 Says See Ya Later, Hemi

More tech, more (turbo) power, more Tungsten—Ram’s main rig sees big improvements for 2025.

Ram got a jump on the LA Auto Show news cycle early Tuesday by revealing the 2025 Ram 1500 pickup (and 1500 Ramcharger range-extender). The brand’s best-seller gains an expected but welcome new engine, a raft of tech and usability improvements, and a new range-topping trim.

2023 Ram 1500 Limited 4X4 Review

Pickup trucks aren’t what they used to be, and that’s a good thing.

These useful workhorses have come a long, long way in terms of driveability, civility, and comfort. There’s a reason pickups are the top selling vehicles in the United and States and Canada. For many, they are the perfect tool for family life, work, and play.

Another stand-out feature of modern full-size pickup trucks is how great they are for road trips.

Ram 1500 Big Horn Vs Laramie: Which Truck is Right for You?

The Ram 1500 is one of the best-selling vehicles in America.

With the country’s love affair for pickup trucks, this doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The Ram 1500 offers a lot of choice for those looking at a new truck. It can be configured to haul a lot of weight, float across the desert floor, or drop the kids off at school on the way to the grocery store.

I bought a 2022 RAM Longhorn Limited 4x4 Crew Cab a year ago and absolutely love it! I've owned both Ford and GM before and will say the RAM is the nicest. The interior materials across the RAM line are the nicest and the Longhorn trim only elevates this to the highest level. Great job RAM!

The only gripes I have (which are small) is it only has one touch window switches for the front windows? and also doesn't have unlock feature for all doors - I have to touch the front door first to then open the rear. There is also no "Auto-Hold" feature? These aren't huge issues but as I was used to those with my 2017 VW Touareg Wolfsburg Edition, I do miss them, and as the RAM Longhorn Limited is a top tier truck I expected these options to be included. Otherwise it's a great truck!
