2026 Hyundai Ioniq 6: All The Details

Visually, the updated Ioniq 6 gains thinner LED daytime running lights composed of pixel-style elements that align with the brand’s design language first seen on the Ioniq 5.

While concept photos show camera-based side mirrors, this feature is unlikely to appear in North American markets due to regulatory hurdles.

The front bumper has been redesigned, placing the primary headlamp units lower and widening the car’s appearance. Along the sides, the black trim now extends upward into the door panels, and at the rear, Hyundai has replaced the fixed rear spoiler with an extended ducktail.

Inside, the overall layout remains familiar, but Hyundai has reworked the steering wheel with a third spoke and reconfigured the center console for improved functionality.

The climate control display has been enlarged, and Hyundai says it has upgraded the door materials for a more premium feel.

A new N Line variant of the Ioniq 6 was also introduced, featuring more aggressive exterior styling. The front bumper adopts a blacked-out treatment with added visual elements, including wing-shaped accents.

It also receives unique wheels and N Line badging. However, Hyundai stopped short of confirming performance upgrades for this version.

The automaker did confirm that a full-performance Ioniq 6 N will be unveiled in July.

While technical details remain under wraps, the Ioniq 6 N is expected to share a similar dual-motor, 641-horsepower setup with the Ioniq 5 N, possibly drawing further inspiration from the earlier RN22e concept.

This teaser image shows a more aggressive Ioniq 6 N, finished in blue with a blacked-out rear fascia. Look for more details later this year.

Hyundai has yet to announce pricing or full specifications for the updated Ioniq 6, but the facelifted model is expected to arrive in North America for the 2026 model year.
