The 2025 Lincoln Navigator has pushed into six-figure starting prices.

For 2025, the Navigator's Reserve trim now takes the place of the former entry-level Premier trim—this juices the starting price to $101,990. This price increase puts the Navigator in a higher price tier than its rival, the Cadillac Escalade, which starts at around $89,590 for the rear-wheel-drive model—the Navigator has lost its rear-wheel-drive option and is now exclusively four-wheel-drive.

Under the hood, the Navigator continues with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. A standout feature is the 48-inch panoramic digital display integrated with Lincoln’s Digital Experience, which offers blind-spot monitoring and entertainment capabilities for passengers. The 2025 Navigator also includes Ford’s BlueCruise Level 2 hands-free driving assistant, accessible for four years before a subscription is required.

Inside, the Reserve trim offers an opulent experience with a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D audio system and 24-way adjustable “Perfect Position” seats. For those needing additional space, the Navigator L (long-wheelbase model) offers expanded cargo room and a starting price of $104,980.

At the top of the lineup, the Black Label trim, beginning at $118,490, adds even more luxury features, such as 30-way adjustable seats and heated third-row seats. The Special Edition package can further elevate the Black Label’s exclusivity with 24-inch high-gloss ebony wheels and a unique two-tone exterior.

With these updates, Lincoln aims to position the Navigator as a true luxury contender, though the price shift may narrow its audience to those seeking an ultra-premium SUV experience. Is it enough to siphon shoppers away from the Cadillac Escalade which is not only less expensive but also includes a V8 soundtrack?

It´s an SUV. A type of vehicle I will never consider a luxury vehicle no matter what features it has or what brand it is. A vehicle that I will never buy no matter what. Not everybody like SUV´s or crossovers or is willing to buy one. So for me, unless they sell it to me per pound or per kilo, I will never pay a cent for it.
