Jeep Teases Out 2026 Grand Cherokee Changes

The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee is in line for a light refresh. The automaker released a pair of teaser images previewing the updated design.

Based on the tight front quarter shot, it looks like styling changes to the Grand Cherokee’s front end were done with a light touch. The familiar short-slat Jeep grille continues, as do the horizontally oriented headlights with what looks like chrome eye shadow, now paired with new eyebrow-style daytime running lights. The lower fascia is a bit more sculpted with fresh chrome trimmings—at least on this specific trim—and the foglights have been moved


The changes inside the cabin are much more noticeable. The larger central infotainment screen now includes two physical knobs for improved usability. The climate control layout has been simplified to a single row of buttons beneath the screen, while a new storage cubby sits underneath.

Jeep also confirmed the 2026 Grand Cherokee would continue to be offered in standard two-row and L-badged three-row versions. The plug-in hybrid 4xe model will also return. While no official powertrain details have been announced, it's possible the aging V6 could be replaced with Stellantis’s turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine.


Jeep says the 2026 Grand Cherokee is undergoing final validation testing ahead of launch later this year.
