Lexus Announces Changes To 2025 LC500 and LC500h

For 2025, Lexus has made a few small tweaks to keep the LC fresh, but it’s still very much the same angular grand tourer that’s been around since 2018.
One of the more notable changes for 2025 is the addition of some extra chassis reinforcements. Lexus says these are meant to make the car feel sharper and tighter, with the idea that a stiffer structure should translate to better handling. The new bits are subtle and aimed at maintaining the balance of comfort and agility rather than outright apex eating.
2025 Lexus LC500: All The Details
The naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 in the LC 500 still makes 471 horsepower and remains a highlight of the car. The LC 500h, continues as the hybrid option, using a 3.5-liter V6 paired with an electric motor. It’s quieter, more relaxed, and honestly, a better fit for long-haul cruising, delivering a combined 354 horsepower.
For 2025, Lexus is giving the LC a few new styling options too. The Bespoke Build program, which was introduced last year, lets buyers go wild with a whole palette of custom paint, trim, and interior options. The new Iridium color is a good example of this—a shimmering silver that slots in alongside more than a few wild choices in the catalog. The convertible gets a couple of new soft-top colors, red and blue, for anyone looking to add a bit more flair to the country club run.
The LC’s cabin remains plush as you’d expect. Alcantara, hand-stitched leather, and carefully chosen metallic accents. For 2025 the Alcantara treatment extends to the passenger seat panel—a small change that accentuates the sense of craftsmanship. The digital gauge cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen remain the focal points, with Lexus’s latest interface providing access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s also natural-speak voice control, so you can talk to your car like it’s a personal assistant.
The coupe version still offers the option of a carbon-fiber roof to shed a bit of weight and lower the center of gravity, while the convertible’s soft top can fold away in just 15 seconds and at speeds up to 31 mph.
Lexus knows its audience, and the changes for 2025 are just enough to keep the LC in line with its unique appeal: a car that’s as much about enjoying the drive as it is about being seen. Pricing for 2025 is slightly higher than last year, with the LC 500 coupe starting at $100,425, the LC 500h at $103,575, and the LC 500 convertible kicking off at $107,625.
