Getting old sucks. There's a long laundry list of reasons why advancing in one's age is no picnic, least of which is the degradation in mobility. In other words, as we age, we aren't as spry and nimble as we once were.


Leave it to the 2026 BMW M2 CS to remind me of this fact. I'm currently driving one for the week and I'll have a full, detailed review coming in the next week or so; spoiler alert - the car is utterly fantastic.


But the race inspired M Carbon Bucket Seats in the M2 CS require a bit of contorting to get in. Just look at the video below to see what I mean.

Yes, I'm being overly dramatic here and the power-seat function does allow for a bit more adjustability and space. But simply hoping in and out of this car isn't the simplest task. That stated, it's wholly worth it. Once in place, the seats provide surprisingly good comfort and the car is phenominal to drive. But more on that in a future article.
