Audi is giving enthusiasts a new way to celebrate two of its most iconic performance cars—without needing a garage or a six-figure budget.

The German automaker has partnered with Mattel to launch buildable scale models of the legendary RS2 Avant and the R8 LMS GT3, part of Hot Wheels’ Brick Shop line, the company’s answer to Lego.

The RS2 Avant comes in 1:32 scale and will retail for $19.99, while the larger 1:16-scale R8 LMS carries a $49.99 price tag. Both are available now for pre-order through major retailers, including Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Mattel’s own website, with deliveries expected later this fall.

RS2 Avant:

Even in miniature, the RS2 Avant hasn’t lost its personality. Finished in a color resembling the original’s famous Nogaro Blue, the wagon wears tiny Porsche Cup-style wheels wrapped in licensed Toyo Proxes R888R rubber. Despite its small size, the kit includes a surprising level of detail: four opening doors, removable glass, hinged front and rear windshields, and a handful of decals to bring the turbocharged five-cylinder legend to life.

R8 LMS:

At twice the scale, the 1:16 R8 LMS GT3 packs in even more features. Modeled after the second-generation race car, it comes with opening doors, a working steering wheel, a functional rear engine hatch revealing a blocky version of the V10, and swappable aero parts. It’s finished in Audi’s older white-and-yellow livery—the wrong livery for a modern Audi LMS race car however—a nod to the brand’s rally heritage and its Nürburgring 24 Hour triumphs.

While most fans will never get to own an RS2 Avant—or campaign an R8 LMS around the Nürburgring—Mattel’s Brick Shop kits offer a fun, hands-on way to experience two of Audi’s greatest hits.

They might not hit 200 mph, but they’ll still put a smile on any enthusiast’s face—especially after the last piece clicks into place.
